🎬 Curtain Closer

Choreo Workshop

Join us at Denmark Dance Company for the "Curtain Closer Choreo Workshop," a unique school holiday event where we will choreograph the grand finale for our upcoming senior year-end concert.

 

This workshop offers a wonderful opportunity for our dancers from the 10 - 12 years and 13+ classes to come together, blend their talents, and create a spectacular closing number for our annual showcase.

What to Expect:

  • 🌟 Sing and Dance: Dive into a dynamic session combining both singing and dancing, ensuring our finale is not just seen but heard.

  • 🎭 Collaborative Creation: Collaborate with peers to choreograph a memorable and exciting performance piece that embodies the spirit and creativity of our dance community.

  • 🤝 Teamwork in Action: Enhance your performance skills and forge lasting memories as you work alongside fellow dancers in a supportive and creative environment.

Time: 1 PM - 3:30 PM

Location: Denmark Civic Centre

Open to: All DDC students aged 10 - 12 and 13+

Registration Fee: $60

Meet The Teaching Team

Jordine Raine

Jordine is a Dance Artist and licensed Creative Arts Therapist based in Denmark, WA. After extensive dance studies in Melbourne, Jordine's career as a performer and interdisciplinary choreographer has spanned Australian, European, and Middle Eastern landscapes, working with Erik Kael, Gabriella Maiorino, Carol Brown and others international choreographers.

 

Recipient of various dance and choreographic, Jordine has presented her own dance works across international stages including in Australia, Iceland, Israel and Switzerland.

 

Under Jordine's leadership, Denmark Dance Company thrives as a platform for innovative dance expressions, fostering cultural enrichment and artistic exchange within the regional landscape.

Mayarn Little-Bell

Mayarn Little-Bell's passion for the performing arts, especially musical theatre, was ignited from a young age through her engagement in drama, dance, and singing. She refined her talents at John Curtin College of the Arts within the Gifted and Talented Program, where she fully immersed herself in the dynamic world of musical theatre. This dedication led to her graduating in 2020 with a Cert II in Musical Theatre, marking her deep commitment to the art form.

 

Her expertise spans several dance styles including jazz, ballet, and tap, acquired through extensive training at prestigious dance schools such as K2 Dance, The Dance Collective, CircusWA, and CDA (Cheer, Dance 'N' Acro). Here, she also cultivated a strong passion for acrobatics, enriching her versatility as a musical theatre performer and instructor.
